Yesterday, we picked up our first Christmas Tree as a couple. It was the first major snowfall of the year (which always feels like a blizzard), but we went ahead and did it anyway. The day before, we hit one of the cut-it-yourself tree lots, but didn't too much. So we ended up buying from the North Shore Fire Dept. who are always set up in the Fair Isle Ford parking lot. Most of the trees come from on Island, so that was good to know.
Once we got it back downtown, we had to walk it from Richmond St. up to our apartment. Since there's not too many residential units in this part of town, most Charlottetownians would have found this to be a pretty odd sight.
We got it up and are currently holding a vote to see what the tree gets named. It looks like it'll end up being "Morgan Treeman." Works for me.
