Fruit and oatmeal pancakes (yum).

We're enjoyers of pancakes.

After years of making the tasty breakfast treats with essentially the same recipe, we thought we'd venture out and mix things up a bit. Here's the new default:

1-1/4 cups flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1-1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetabIe oil
1 cup blueberries or grated peeled apples or whatever

Mix the dry ingredients. Mix the wet. Toss 'em together. Mix in the fruit. Pour on a nice hot griddle. Eat. Enjoy the rest of your morning.
