We heart pancakes.

We, like most, really enjoy pancakes. It's not uncommon for us to make them every weekend or so, and with today being the last day of a very pancakeless four-day weekend, we knew what was for breakfast.

We always start with the same base recipe, and then add tasty bits (chocolate chips, banana, blueberries, etc.) as desired.

The base recipe is as follows:

1 1/2 cups (or so) flour
2 or 3ish teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons veg oil or butter or something of the like

I strongly recommend trying them with a finely chopped banana and some dark chocolate chips tossed in. Enjoy!
