Claire came home today.

It was nice to (finally) get home, but, strangely enough, a little bit of us misses the hospital too. The nurses were fantastic, and our little room was cozy and special since it was the place we first got to spend together as a little family. That said, being home is really nice and Claire seems to enjoy our apartment plenty.

She was none too happy about being put in the car seat, but she eventually obliged.

A bundle of photos of our bundle of joy.

It's been a whirlwind few days. We've been snapping all kinds of photos, but haven't had too much opportunity to share many of them. Here's a few.

The past three days have been an amazing experience for us. The nurses and other healthcare staff at the QEH have been fantastic.

This, I'm sure, is the first photo-slideshow post of many.

Today is (not going to be) the day.

We've been making use of What To Expect's free iPhone app to geek-out about Baby's arrival. It has really good daily snippets about your pregnancy, and there's even about one tip per week specifically for dads. It gives you a countdown until Baby's due date and offers an idea of Baby's weight and size. We looked forward to seeing which fruit or vegetable Baby was going to grow into each week (and then are instantly reminded of how big Baby is each and every time we went to the grocery store). It's also a big fat liar.

Today is Baby's due date, and seeing as though the day is almost over, it seems as though today will NOT be the day.

Tomorrow? The weekend? Next week?
