Dundas Plowing Match.
Yesterday, we packed our (diaper) bags and headed east to the Dundas Plowing Match.
We've been going as a couple for the last few years, and Rachel's been life-long fan and past employee of the event. As always, it was a lot of fun.
While I was off picking blueberries, Rachel and Auntie Rhonda took Claire and the boys around, and Claire even tried her hand in the 4H colouring contest. After I returned, we had a bite and hit the grounds. We checked out the barns and animals and music and plowing and everything else the Plowing Match has to offer.
We're in the process of prepping Claire for the pig scramble for future years, and Rachel will no doubt eventually attempt to make her mom proud and continue the family tradition of taking home the Wife Hollering Contest trophy.
