Fruit and oatmeal pancakes (yum).
We're enjoyers of pancakes.
After years of making the tasty breakfast treats with essentially the same recipe, we thought we'd venture out and mix things up a bit. Here's the new default:
1-1/4 cups flour1 tbsp sugar1 tbsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt1/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats1 tsp cinnamon1 egg1-1/2 cups milk1/4 cup vegetabIe oil1 cup blueberries or grated peeled apples or whatever
Mix the dry ingredients. Mix the wet. Toss 'em together. Mix in the fruit. Pour on a nice hot griddle. Eat. Enjoy the rest of your morning.
